Q: Can I change my pre-made character's looks and personality?
A: Yes, all pre-made characters, descriptions, looks, pictures and personalities are for guidelines only and are open to your interpretation. You will be given the opportunity to add any differences you would like while filling out your application. Once your application is approved, those adjustments will be added to the website under your character.

Note: Please be sensible. If you are making any changes, read your family background and your own character's story first. If both your parents are dark-haired, dark-eyed, and dark-skinned, it's unlikely you will have fair hair and blue eyes. If your character is a mighty warrior, he's hardly going to be as meek as a mouse!

Q: Can I change my pre-made character's name?
A: Yes, everyone can change their names, except royals (as these are mentioned in the lore, and it would take too long to have to go through the website/ lore and change their names there also) Everyone else can change your character's first name but not their surname. Take into consideration where your character is from and what type of name they would have. Norveg, for example, would have Norse-sounding names. Alban would have Medieval British names. Latium would have Ancient Roman-/Greek-/Egyptian-sounding names.

Q: Can I change my pre-made character's story/background?
A: Yes and No.
Yes, if your story changes do not affect another approved character's established story.

No, if it affects an already approved character.

Not all pre-made characters have a story written out, but those that do include other characters, so it wouldn't be fair to change theirs too. However, once you're approved and the RP begins, the story is yours and your character is your own to control.

Q: Can I write an original character?
A: Yes they can be anything you like, except for royals and nobles, we have already allowed for enough of those on the website for you to chose from.. Your character can still be wealthy without being a noble, there were wealthy land owners, business owners, farmers etc.
