Conquest Lore - The Short Version!

We know not every one has the will or the way to read a novel length website just to get started!, so here's the short version, all you need to know summarized. Once read, pick a character and fill out our short application, and let's get you roleplaying!

The Lore Summary:

Liandra, a once-unified realm, now consists of three separate kingdoms: Latium, Alban, and Norveg. After a devastating civil war, the factions agreed to divide the land and establish the "No Man's Lands" as a buffer zone. Over centuries, each kingdom developed its own culture and traditions.

In 452 AD, war erupts between Latium and Alban due to an accusation of murder. Norveg, remaining neutral, secretly engages in a lucrative trade of weapons and alliances through strategic marriages with both kingdoms.

The year 462AD, the decade long war ends with both sides agreeing to a truce, the terms of the truce where each future heir of each throne, would be wedded.

In 502AD, Latiums' Empress is found dead, sparking tensions and unrest among the kingdoms. Latium organizes the "mos maiorum" festival to honor her, inviting attendees from neighboring lands.

Winter 502AD. The War of the Heirs, begins, starting off as a civil war in Latium and ending up as a full blown war with Norveg. Leading to the destruction and defeat of Latium.

Quick need to know notes:

Norveg - Is reminiscent of the Vikings

Alban - Is reminiscent of Medieval britain

Latium - is reminiscent of Ancient Rome - Note: there will be no area on sim for Latium, as this now lies in destruction after the war. If you chose to be a character of Latium, you will be in Alban or Norveg.

Once you have read all of the above. Pick a character

There are many pre-wrote characters across the website, some have full background or/and descriptions of personality and looks.

Some have very little wrote about them, just their name and age, and family members stated, if any. These are basically blank slates for you to write your own background and bio for.

It's up to you which ever character you chose to apply for.

Can you change looks or/and personality of pre-wrote characters on the website? yes you will be given the opportunity to state any changes you would like on your application.

Can you write a complete new character (one that is not on the website) ? Yes, you can, but they can not be royals or nobles. your character CAN be a wealthy land owner, business owner, council member, etc. or small folk, anything you chose.
